John F Kennedy Park

We stopped by Kennedy Park to get some photos of Kennedy Lake in south west Tucson, Arizona one evening in Sept 2008. The water level was about average and a few people had lines in the water testing their luck fishing for the fish the lake is stocked with each year. An Arizona Urban Fishing License required to fish at Kennedy Lake (as with all the Tucson Urban Lakes). No live baitfish allowed. Kennedy lake contains: channel catfish, rainbow trout (in season), bluegill, redear sunfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, carp, and white amur. Buy a two-pole stamp and try different baits to double your odds. There is a map below you can use to help find Kennedy Lake in southwest Tucson, north of Aio Way between La Cholla Boulevard and Mission Road.
